Hornby Community Centre Courtyard – Project Update 

We have been collaborating with the Hornby Community Centre since November 2019. Together, we are working to reinvigorate their courtyard area, which is beautiful but has been inactive for some time.

Our Moveable Workspace had just arrived on site at Hornby Community Centre on March 22nd, and we went into lockdown for COVID19 on March 25th, 2020. As you can imagine, the team have really enjoyed being back on site the past couple of weeks. We’ve had fantastic support from the local community, with many volunteers coming along to multiple sessions. They tell us they’re enjoying learning new skills and trying their hand at the different elements of construction. 

We’re making good progress on this project and are aiming to be finished by the end of June 2020.
