The workshops, hosted by Phillipstown Community Hub, introduce people to power tool safety, how to measure and cut materials, and construction techniques for boxes, that can be used in multiple ways in a private or community garden setting.
The workshops are part of our Backyard Resilience project, which has included sharing knowledge about edible plants (via social media and printed booklet), and a series of workshops building climate-resilient, edible, and wildlife-friendly backyards, using expertise from landscape architects and looking at each participant’s unique backyard environment.
